Legion 2010

Yesterday I saw "Legion" and it was interesting. According to the trailer it was a big movie that everyone was going to love but I didn´t think that was a good movie at all. Now I don´t mean the actors and actresses in the movie but movie itself. The story was a bit out fetched.

The movie takes place at a diner which is owned by father and his son. Where the son had decided to take care of a girl, who is pregnant. He has nightmares about that the child was going to burn in hell. According to the archangel Michael, the child inside of her was the mankind's only savior and he has come down to earth to save the child, because himself had told that he was disappointed on mankind because they had fail him. He sends angels in human body do kill the child. The archangel Gabriel acted to be Michael´s friend but instead he had a mission from himself to kill the child.

In the end Michael saves the child but he dies and becomes a real angel. Before the movies ends he comes back to defeat Gabriel but instead of killing him he spares his life and says that there is hope for the mankind.

Paul Bettany in leading part, he does a wonderful role as the archangel Michael. He makes the audience feel a sort of sympathy towards him because he wants the mankind to survive. He believes in humans to make the world for themselves and let him decide when human should die.
Some of the others who plays are: Kate Walsh, which plays an amazing role as a mother as she loses her husband during the battle and blame everything on her daughter. she just want to protect her daughter so she gives on to give the kid to the people who have been affected. Dennis Quaid in the role of the father, who owns the site where the movie played out. Plays the over-protected against his son, who does not want him to take care of the girl who is pregnant. Dennis often play such roles, where he will play tough and be the strongest of them all. His role will be in a form because I think his role is a bit of a pussy. Lucas Black as the "father figure" who would take care of the girl and the baby. Adrianne Palicki, as the pregnant girl who are stuck there because no one else would take care of her. Carries the baby to save humanity be wiped out.
